Cornmills Donations
With a grant of 8,000,000 Frs. CFA (12,300 euro), from Holshzeu Foundation Germany through ROLF/PARMED Germany, we donated 10 corn mills to women groups in Bui Division. This went to help women in areas without access to corn mills, reducing long distances to transform their corn grain to corn flour. This is used to prepare corn fufu the main meal of the region. Many villages lack these facilities and through the beneficiary women groups, the long distances women used to trek from one village to another to grind corn have been greatly reduced.
